SPSFWNA Program Team
At Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas (SPSFNWA), our strength lies in the dedication, passion, and expertise of our team members. We are thrilled to welcome two new individuals to our Program Department—Ashton and Quaneshia—who bring fresh perspectives and a deep commitment to our mission. Additionally, we are proud to highlight the unwavering dedication of Carrie, who has been with our organization for 22 years.
Meet Ashton: A New Chapter of Purpose and Possibility
Ashton, Scholarship Program Manager: Benton & Carroll Counties, joins our team with a sense of purpose and enthusiasm that is truly inspiring. Reflecting on this new journey, Ashton shares, “Joining this team feels like stepping into a new chapter of purpose and possibility. I’m excited to collaborate with such passionate individuals and to make a meaningful impact on our community. What I’m most looking forward to is connecting deeply with our recipients, understanding their unique stories, and working together to achieve goals that matter to them. It’s this personal connection and shared commitment to positive change that truly inspires me.”
Ashton’s commitment to forging meaningful connections with our recipients aligns perfectly with the core values of SPSFNWA. We are excited to see the positive impact Ashton will have as we continue to support single-parent families on their educational journeys.
Meet Quaneshia: A Personal Connection to Our Mission
Quaneshia, Scholarship Program Manager: Washington & Madison Counties, brings a wealth of experience and a personal connection to the work we do at SPSFNWA. As a single mother, she understands the challenges our recipients face and is passionate about supporting them in their pursuit of higher education. In her own words, “I am honored to join such a prestigious organization such as Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas! Over the years, I have always been a supporter of SPSFNWA and its mission. I believe that the work our organization does to improve the lives of recipients and their families is remarkable. Being a single mother myself, I know some of the obstacles that recipients may face. I look forward to supporting other single parents on their pathway to creating a better future for themselves and their children through higher education.”
Quaneshia’s insight and dedication will undoubtedly be a tremendous asset to our team as we work together to empower single-parent families in Northwest Arkansas.
Celebrating Carrie: 22 Years of Commitment
For 22 years, Carrie has been an integral part of the SPSFNWA family, witnessing the growth and evolution of our organization firsthand. Her commitment to our recipients is as strong as ever, and her passion for our mission continues to inspire those around her. Reflecting on her time with us, Carrie shares, “Though I have been with Single Parent Scholarship Fund of NWA for 22 years, we continued to grow and change to meet the needs of our recipients so that they can succeed and make better lives for themselves and their families. Our recipients are not just a measure of time spent, but a testament to the trust built, challenges overcome, and the growth achieved through countless interactions and shared goals. They are the reason I strive to be better.”
Carrie’s decades-long dedication is a testament to the lasting impact of our work and the deep connections we build with our recipients. Her experience and wisdom are invaluable to our team, and we are grateful for her continued service.
Looking Ahead
As we move forward, the addition of Ashton and Quaneshia, along with the steadfast presence of Carrie, positions SPSFNWA to continue making a profound difference in the lives of single parents and their families. We are excited about the future and look forward to the incredible work that lies ahead.
