Our Why

Building Our Future

The growth we see in Northwest Arkansas brings more single parents to our door. To meet this increase, our goal is to provide a larger space to accommodate the growing demand of supportive services. Our new 1.4-acre campus will feature a 13,000 + square foot building off the I-49 corridor allowing us to grow our SPSFNWA programs and serve more single parent families.

Why Now?

SPSFNWA joined two organizations to best serve the entire NWA region in 2021, SPSFNWA now serves Benton, Carroll, Madison, and Washington counties.

How will the new building help our recipients and their families?

  • The ability to expand capacity to provide additional support services such as a dedicated supply pantry consisting of donated cleaning products, hygiene products, and other costly household items
  • Expansion of counseling services with a three-office suite that includes children, family, and adult therapy spaces
  • The creation of a therapy garden for an enhanced counseling tool
  • Access to additional dedicated individual and group study spaces
  • Ample and versatile education meeting space for SPSFNWA recipient events and trainings
  • Private wellness space to meet the needs of new mothers
  • Responding to the growth of the Northwest Arkansas community, the additional space will allow SPSFNWA to serve more single-parent families.

What will happen to the current facility?

The future sale of our current location, 2601 SW D Street will be used to support the new project as an unrestricted maintenance fund.

It's amazing that there is an organization that goes to such lengths to invest in our future. Thank you so, so very much from the bottom of my heart!
